Our regular club tryouts for 2025-26 Season Tryouts have concluded. Information for 2026-27 Season Tryouts will be updated here when confirmed. Our programs cater to various age groups and skill levels, providing a comprehensive pathway for player development.
Starting with the 2026-27 season, U.S. Soccer will transition to an age group formation cycle based on August 1 to July 31, aligning youth soccer age groups with school years. The age group formation will shift from the current January 1 birth year system to an August 1 to July 31 system. This change aims to better align soccer participation with school year ages,

TSF Academy’s 2026-2027 tryouts will be held under the new age group platform, August 1 to July 31.

Do I have to attend both tryout dates?
Answer: We recommend both but it is not mandatory.
I registered for tryouts but I haven’t heard anything.
Answer: Upon registering, you will get a confirmation email. As we get closer to the date, you will receive another email confirming the schedule and other pertinent details.
My child plays a year up on his current team. Can I register for tryouts for that age group or do I have to register for his own birth year?
Answer: You must register for your appropriate birth year.
Is there a chance of being promoted to a higher level team or an age up?
Answer: Yes, we determine player movements throughout the season based on ability.
Where do your teams train/tryout locations?
Answer: Facilities – TSF Academy
Can I try out for a specific team such as MLS Next?
Answer: There is one tryout for each age group. Offers will go out specific to the team that we deem appropriate for you: MLS Next, NAL/NEAL, EDP.
When can I expect a decision after trying out?
Answer: Decisions on roster spots/offers/rejections, will be emailed to players by March 29* *subject to change
Can I train with the team before trying out? I want to get a feel for the training and environment.
Answer: Unfortunately, with the number of registered players for tryouts and a large number of requests, we are not able to accommodate. However, if you are accepted, we can arrange for you to join a session to assist in making your decision.
Can you let me know who the coach will be for the new season?
Answer:The coaching assignments for the 2024/2025 season will be made at the end of the Spring season.
WINTER ID CLINICS
TSF Academy Winter ID Clinics are an opportunity for players to showcase their abilities. Join us to experience our program, as well as have an opportunity to be assessed by our staff prior to 2026/2027 tryouts dates.

About New York Red Bulls Official Academy Affiliation
The New York Red Bulls Academy Affiliate Program, part of the MLS Youth Affiliate Network, is a platform designed to improve the player identification and development of elite youth level players by providing greater access to high level soccer opportunities. The most talented players within the Academy Affiliate Program participate in co-partnered elite player development and talent identification programs operated by both the Affiliate club and the New York Red Bulls Academy’s.

About NATIONAL ACADEMY LEAGUE
The nation’s top Academy clubs collaborated to support the developmental pathway for players focused on their professional and college careers through the NAL. The league will see fifty-four clubs competing in five conferences: New England, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Florida at BU13 thru BU19 age groups and participating clubs will have the opportunity to participate at IMG Cup College Showcase in December and compete for NAL National Championships.
About NORTHEAST ACADEMY LEAGUE
The Northeast Academy League (which is not a part of, nor operated by MLS NEXT) will provide a competition platform for players who aspire to participate in MLS NEXT. As part of the strategic cooperation agreement, MLS NEXT will collaborate with the Northeast Academy League to provide players with increased identification opportunities, individual assessments, and enhanced scouting and coaching education for team technical staff.
About EDP AND EDP FUTURES
TSF Academy was one of the original core member clubs of EDP in 2009. EDP provides a variety of excellent competition platforms from USYS National, Regional and local events, leagues and showcase events for all our players on their journey to collegiate and/or high school soccer.
