Supplemental Training Program
TSF Inter Academy
A supplemental training pathway for ambitious travel players looking to
bridge the gap between travel soccer and the academy environment.
Important: The TSF Inter Academy program is not for current TSF Academy players.

The Inter Academy program has been a foundational instrument in building TSF Academy since our inception in 2005. TSF Academy has hence evolved into a full service club. To mirror our training philosophy in youth player development, we are re-introducing Inter Academy for travel players as a supplement to their current club commitment. We will take an age-based progressive training methodology, identifying certain benchmarks for player milestones and to focus on step by step development that many travel programs currently lack.
The TSF Inter Academy program, aims to help players bridge the gap between travel and academy, while still encouraging them to train and play with their town teams (Club neutral, regardless of affiliation). It provides players a developmental opportunity for 7 months in a team environment, while keeping the player connected to their existing clubs.

PROGRAM FEATURES
The Inter Academy program is designed to support travel players through a structured, supplemental development pathway while keeping players connected to their current club environment.
Club-Neutral Supplemental Training
Players remain with their current travel club while receiving additional TSF Academy training designed to support their long-term development.
Bridge Between Travel & Academy
The program helps players close the gap between travel soccer and academy-level expectations through a more detailed and progressive training environment.
Age-Based Development Methodology
Training is organized around player milestones, helping players build technical habits, game understanding, and confidence step by step.
7-Month Development Opportunity
Players are given a longer-term developmental experience that includes winter, spring, and summer phases rather than a short isolated training program.
TEAM ENVIRONMENT
Players train and compete in a structured team setting while still remaining connected to their existing club teams.
COMPETITIVE SUMMER PHASE
Teams have the opportunity to take part in summer tournament events, giving players a chance to apply their development in competitive environments.
TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT
Inter Academy training is built around age-appropriate technical development, decision-making, and game understanding. Sessions are designed to help players build stronger habits on the ball while learning how to apply those skills in realistic game situations.
BALL MASTERY
Improving comfort, control, and confidence with the ball under different types of pressure.
SKILL MOVES
Developing individual attacking tools to unbalance defenders and create separation.
CHANGE OF DIRECTION
Helping players change speed, direction, and body shape to escape pressure or attack space.
Passing Types
Building a wider range of passing techniques to connect play over different distances and situations.
Receiving Techniques
Developing first touch, body position, and awareness before receiving the ball.
Combination Play
Helping players connect with teammates through give-and-goes, overlaps, third-player movements, and quick passing actions.
ATTACKING NUMBERS UP
Teaching players how to recognize overloads, create advantages, and make better attacking decisions.
Defending Numbers Down
Helping players understand how to delay, recover, cover space, and defend with purpose.
Shooting Techniques
Developing finishing habits, ball striking, accuracy, and composure in front of goal.
