SUPPLEMENTAL SOCCER TRAINING PROGRAM
The TSF Inter Academy program is not for current TSF Academy players
The Inter Academy program has been a foundational instrument in building TSF Academy since our inception in 2005. TSF Academy has hence evolved into a full service club. To mirror our training philosophy in youth player development, we are re-introducing Inter Academy for travel players as a supplement to their current club commitment. We will take an age-based progressive training methodology, identifying certain benchmarks for player milestones and to focus on step by step development that many travel programs currently lack.
The TSF Inter Academy program, aims to help players bridge the gap between travel and academy, while still encouraging them to train and play with their town teams (Club neutral, regardless of affiliation). It provides players a developmental opportunity for 7 months in a team environment, while keeping the player connected to their existing clubs.

Program Features
At A GLANCE
The typical program brings players together in the winter for a structured training program focused on development. This transitions to a spring training program to re-enforce the training principles. Competitive phase begins with the summer program where teams are selected, with a goal of competing at 2-3 summer tournaments.

The typical winter and spring training focuses on the individual player development. The areas covered are (but not limited to):
- Dribbling – Ball mastery
- Dribbling – Skill moves
- Dribbling – Change direction
- Passing – Different types of passes
- Receiving – Receiving techniques
- Passing – Combinations
- Attacking – Numbers up (2v1, 3v2)
- Defending – Numbers down
- Shooting – Shooting techniques
The summer program, is an opportunity to showcase all the hard work and development in a team environment, with teams being formed to participate in summer tournaments.
