TSF Inter Academy
The Inter Academy program has been a foundational instrument in building TSF Academy since our inception in 2005. TSF Academy has hence evolved into a full service club. To mirror our training philosophy in youth player development, we are re-introducing Inter Academy for travel players as a supplement to their current club commitment. We will take an age-based progressive training methodology, identifying certain benchmarks for player milestones and to focus on step by step development that many travel programs currently lack.
The TSF Inter Academy program, aims to help players bridge the gap between travel and academy, while still encouraging them to train and play with their town teams (Club neutral, regardless of affiliation). The program will be a great experience for the parent and player. It provides players an elite developmental opportunity for 7 months, while keeping the player connected to their existing clubs.

Program Features
Who is Inter Academy for?
Boys U8-U14 and Girls U8-14. A specialized training program for travel players, in an academy setting. The Inter Academy is an age based progressive training program focused on the development of each player.
Program Focus
The Inter Academy focused in improving the players technical, tactical, physical and cognitive ability. Players can progress through the levels based on their performance, attitude, and desire to improve. The curriculum is based on the same elements as used with our year round club teams, heavily focused on the individual players holistic development.
Targeted Player Development Plans
A specialized training program for travel players, in an academy setting. Targeted developmental player plans, where players will be developed, monitored, and
evaluated.

At A GLANCE
The typical program brings players together in the winter for a structured training program focused on development. This transitions to a spring training program to re-enforce the training principles. Competitive phase begins with the summer program where teams are selected, with a goal of competing at 2-3 summer tournaments.

The typical winter and spring training focuses on the individual player development. The areas covered are (but not limited to):
- Dribbling – Ball mastery
- Dribbling – Skill moves
- Dribbling – Change direction
- Passing – Different types of passes
- Receiving – Receiving techniques
- Passing – Combinations
- Attacking – Numbers up (2v1, 3v2)
- Defending – Numbers down
- Shooting – Shooting techniques
The summer program, is an opportunity to showcase all the hard work and development in a team environment, with teams being formed to participate in summer tournaments.
