as New Academy Director.

TSF Academy is pleased to announce Paul O’Donnell as our new Academy Director. Paul brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Academy and we look forward to working with him.

  • Downtown United Soccer Club Director of Coaching (2021-2026)
  • New York Red Bulls Academy Head Coach (2002-2021)
  • New York Red Bulls Academy Manager (2002-2009)
  • New York Red Bulls Interim Academy Director (2016-2017)
  • Co-Founded NY / NJ Metrostars Academy (2002)

Coaching Philosophy

We meet each player where they are and help them elevate their level of play while instilling a lifelong passion for the game. Our approach to individual and team development is rooted in the daily process—focusing on the habits, mindset, and attention to detail needed to grow both on and off the field. Through intentional training and purposeful coaching, we prepare athletes not just for competition, but for success beyond the game.

  • Coached over 30 Homegrown players signed by New York Red Bulls 1st team.
  • Coached over 50 players that have played professionally at various levels in the United States, as well as in Europe & South America
  • Coached over 100 players that have played Division I college soccer.
  • 2022 WPSL Metropolitan Division Coach of the Year
